The second Laurie Gibson was nine months old in the Census of October 4, 1850. Both Laurie’s were male, brothers dying very young. Laurie, the surname of a family friend, finally survived as the middle name of the next child, Corinne Laurie Gibson 1852 – 1928 (buried in Little Rock). This cemetery was established on the property of prominent early Arkansan Lorenzo Gibson 1804-1866: http://www.encyclopediaofarkansas.net/encyclopedia/entry-detail.aspx?search=1&entryID=1152 Burials are Lorenzo Gibson's siblings (born prior to his 1833 marriage to Caroline Louisa Thomas 1812-1878) and children (born 1834 and later).
Note: William R. Gibson Jr is not the father, but the uncle of William R. Gibson 3rd, whose father was Lorenzo Gibson.
