My friend Joe Gerson is a New York artist and rendered the most beautiful painting, of TOPOCK SWAMP, in Arizona. I have it here on the wall. Being an Eastern idiot, like many people I was unaware of the amazing diversity of topography in Arizona. My Dad owns a house up in Alpine, in the White Mountains, where I understand there are magnificent conifer trees and, the entire landscape is completely unlike the deserts we commonly associate with Southern Arizona. Live and learn. It is a lovely painting and I hope to visit the real Topock one day. Cheers from New York! Cindy Legorreta.
