Has anyone been here recently? I went Wednesday and tried to go to the dike area. What the...
A.) The dike isn't really passable, its completely overgrown and scary! The other "trails" aka tire tracks cutting through the reeds are not walkable because its so flooded.
B.) I saw 1 heron, and 1 hawk. Zero bald eagles. Maybe 3 other species of birds. I couldn't see ANYTHING because the paths are so overgrown.
C.) Why is there no information online about DIX WMA recently? I can't find anything, videos, first hand accounts from anyone who has been there in at least 6-7 years? What am I missing, why is nobody going there? I am starting to become obsessed.
D.) Google Street View doesn't even go down Seabreeze Road, off 601. WTF? Why?
E.) Are there still houses in Seabreeze on the beach of the bay? If you zoom in on Google Maps of Beach Ave., you can see houses, yet according to a youtube video all buildings were demolished in 2012 by the DEP and the State of NJ.
F.) I emailed the NJ Fish and Wildlife Department and a man left me a voicemail saying their email system was blocking his return emails to me. ????
